NEW IN-PERSON INTEREST GROUP
Howard Friedman is Professor of Law Emeritus at the University of Toledo College of Law. He taught courses in Constitutional Law, Corporate Law and Securities Regulation. He has also taught at the University of North Dakota, and as a visiting professor as several other law schools. He received his BA degree from Ohio State University, his law degree from Harvard Law School, and an LL.M. degree from Georgetown University. He has written 4 books and over two dozen articles and book chapters. Prof. Friedman has lectured widely to both professional and general audiences
He lived in Toledo, Ohio for over 30 years where he was active in the Ohio State Bar Association and numerous local, state and national Jewish community organizations. Howard now lives in the Detroit area. He is editor of Religion Clause blog—an award-winning resource on current developments in church-state and religious liberty issues. He is a past president of IRP Detroit and serves on the Community Relations Committee of the Detroit Jewish Federation.
